BACP Logo Accredited Member

Morag has achieved her Accredited Membership with BACP which is an assessment to show that she meets their standards as a committed professional being safe and effective practitioner.  If you want to check Morag's registration, you can check the BACP Register. This gives the name, registration number and location of all registered members.

There are many counsellors/psychotherapists out there and not all are equally qualified. In fact, the profession is not as regulated as you may think, some counsellors may not be fully trained.

Therefore, choosing a practitioner who is a BACP registered member should give clients further assurance that she works to high standards of proficiency and the ethical practice you would expect from a professional.

Morag can fully demonstrate she can

·         work to ethical and professional good practice guidelines

·         establish and maintain clear therapeutic boundaries

·         manage how to end therapy for clients

As a BACP Accredited member, Morag has demonstrated core training in psychotherapy. This is addition to her BSc in Psychology, her Masters in Human Resources and her degree in teaching.  We want you to see you are in safe hands. Registered members must agree to comply with the BACP Register terms and conditions. These include committing to continuing professional development and working to the Ethical Framework for the Counselling Professions.

BACP ensures that Morag continues to meet the standards by asking her to commit to their terms and conditions every year when she renews membership and she can be audited at any time.  Should you need to make a complaint about Morag, please follow the BACP complaints procedure

The Associates too are all registered with professional bodies making us dedicated, experienced and qualified to practice.
